Testing and Inspection (coming up): You’ll be able to log electrical tests for your inventory on a weekly, monthly or annual basis, recording what’s passed and failed. Plus, Current can flag products that are overdue a test when you’re prepping your jobs.
Mobile Scanning App (coming up): The perfect warehouse companion that will enable you to scan to allocate, prepare, check out and in using the in-built camera in your phone or tablet.
The team will also be covering the core features of our cloud-based software, to help event businesses like yourselves do what you do best - supply to and help put together unforgettable events. 2. Leave the show inspired by your own industry
This year, The Special Event will be co-locating with Catersource; the world’s premier educational resource and expansive network for the catering and events industry, bringing the whole events and catering industry together for the 2-day show. The audience is broader, so you’ll find every type of event-based product and service at Mandalay Bay. It’s also great for mingling with other rental businesses in the same industry as you, whether they’re exhibiting or attending. Here are some exciting booths that we think you should check out there:
Cort Events: We’ve seen a lot of hype around Cort Events on booth #1817, who rent out all kinds of furniture for every event, from corporate to weddings. This year Cort Events go back in time with a speakeasy theme, including 1920’s furniture on show, fancy specialty cocktails, and other Gatsby-era fun. But you’ll have to visit to find out more - it’s all very hush-hush!
GigRent: For 10 years now, GigRent has been providing audiovisual and technical equipment rentals along with training and expertise, to actively compose events of all sizes worldwide. If you cross paths with AV rentals, drop by GigRent on booth #1941 to see their latest rental services and check out their LED wall, standing 8ft high by 20ft wide. Live Theater: Wednesday, March 11 - Thursday, March 12 | All day | Live Theater stage The hottest performances and acts on the show floor during exhibit hall hours. Performances will be published to The Special Event and Catersource attendees and all are invited to watch.

4. Vegas is the answer no matter the question!
If you’ve been to Vegas before, you’ll know it’s one of, if not the liveliest city in the entire 50 states (okay, this is subjective but it’s pretty fun for most). So if you’re going to attend a work-related exhibition, The Special Event is great for its incredible location in the heart of Las Vegas.
