T he perfect opportunity to catch up with all that’s new with Current RMS, Showman's Show is the place to be! We’ve released a couple of new features back to back in the past month, so now’s as good a time as any to drop by Stand 70 and have a play around in the system.
With an estimate of over 4,500 attendees, we’re expecting the Showman’s Show to be bustling this October. Whether you’re after outdoor AV solutions, marquees, furniture hire options or the coolest catering suppliers, chances are you’ll find them at the Showman’s Show. Last year, we even came across some camels!
After a successful first year, the Campfire Sessions are back! Held in a campfire environment, the educational sessions are worth your while dropping into and are perfect to get a wider understanding of what’s going on in the events world. Talks include temporary structure training sessions plus an advice panel for freelance event planners, as well as lots more. See what catches your eye with a full list of campfire sessions here.
Another highly talked-about event you can find this year at the Showman’s Show is the Festival Vision 2025 conference. Held at the newly opened ‘Hub’, Vision 2025 encourages those in the events industry to be more environmentally friendly with the events they host, promoting sustainable resources and processes. Over 60 of the UK’s festivals are on board with the movement, all of which will be focussing on the Sustainability Skills & Knowledge Update at the show. We’ve been pretty busy this past twelve months, implementing over 20 brand new features to streamline your rental business in the cloud, all of which have been voted for by our customers on the Online Customer Wishlist.
One of the top new updates is Global Check-in, which enables users to scan in items from different jobs all on one screen. This new feature is ideal for those busy mornings when you find yourself in a warehouse surrounded by products - check in any of your items from any job all from one screen, to get decluttered even quicker.
Another latest release is Discussion Templates, which allows you to customise your Discussions from within Current RMS, adding your own branding to any messages you send. This ensures all communication with your team or your customers reflects your company branding. It’s also handy for those standardised messages that frequently get typed out - add them as a Discussion Template to get your messages sent out efficiently.
