The Coronavirus: it’s all anyone can talk about at the moment. These are uncertain times for the events, AV, production, and camera rental industries, so we’d like to take this chance to say that we’re here for you.
Here’s an update about how we’re working here at Current RMS, so you know that you can continue to rely on us as normal during this period.
As we’re sure is the case in your business, the safety of our people is our most important consideration. Following the advice of the WHO and local governments, we decided to close our offices and implement our home working plan.
We have offices across the world and regularly hit the road for tradeshows, so we’re already well-versed in remote working. Rest assured, it’s business as usual - just from different desks.
As a fully cloud-based solution, you’ll not be surprised to learn that all of our operations are fully cloud, too. All of the information that we need is centralized in the cloud, so we can get our jobs done wherever we are. Here are just a few of the tools that we use:

What this means is that we can provide the same level of service that you’ve come to expect from us, with all of the same information at our fingertips. We’ve checked with our suppliers on their plans during this time and they’ve reassured us that they’re ready to roll during this time, too.
As some of you may know, we’re part of a larger software group called Kerridge Commercial Systems. We stand on the shoulders of KCS, an established global company with over forty years in the marketplace. They have the same goals as us: making sure that we can all get on with our jobs so that you can get on with yours.
Although it seems like we’re in pretty dark times, it’s important to look for some positives that we can take out of experiences like this. And here’s one of them: time. In this industry, spare time is a luxury we often go without and now we’ve got it in abundance.
